We are excited to offer online registration this year for incoming kindergarten students and for those students new to Auburn City Schools (ACS). The New Student Registration link is now available on the ACS website and at the end of this email. This link is NOT for currently enrolled students. A SNAPCODE is NOT needed to register your new student. This link will allow you to create an account, register for the 2015-2016 school year and upload two proofs of residency that are required to continue the registration process. You will need to provide one of the following combinations for proof of residency:
Current year property tax AND one current utility bill*
Current lease/rental agreement AND one current utility bill*
Current mortgage or deed AND one current utility bill*
Legal guardians must provide documentation of guardianship
*utilities-gas, power, water, cable, phone (land line only)
**You
can take a picture/photo of the required/above documents with a smart phone and
upload the picture if you do not have the ability to scan the documents.
**Once
you click “SUBMIT” you cannot go back to the information to make changes or
upload additional documents.
Parents/Guardians of incoming
Kindergarten students should bring the items listed below to Cary Woods
Elementary for Kindergarten Kick Off and Open House on Thursday, April 30 from
5:30-7:30pm. We will also receive documents on Friday, May 1 from 10:00am-1:00pm in the music room. Certified/Original Birth Certificate or Passport (we will copy)
Social Security Card (optional)
Current Alabama Certificate of Immunization (blue card)
Please register as soon as
possible as this helps determine our staffing needs for the upcoming school
